What's in front of you now isn't a question of identity — it's a question of how to actually move forward when the path feels complicated, scary, or just really hard to navigate alone.

Maybe you're preparing for surgery and need a letter from a therapist. Maybe you're early in your transition and processing everything that's shifting — in your body, your relationships, your sense of yourself in the world. Maybe you've been out for years and are hitting a new stage of transition that's bringing up things you didn't expect. Or maybe you're somewhere in between — you know, but you're not sure you're ready. And the world right now isn't exactly making it feel safer to move.

Wherever you are in that, this is a place to be honest about it.

I approach these as a collaborative process, not a gatekeeping one. You're not here to prove yourself to me. You're here to get what you need.

If you're still working out what transition looks like for you — or just beginning to question your gender — there's room for that too. This page leads with transition support because that's where most of my clients are, but you don't have to have it figured out to reach out.

It would be dishonest to write this page without addressing what's happening.

The current administration has made gender-affirming care a target. Access to transition-related healthcare is being restricted. Executive orders and legislation are attempting to roll back protections that trans people fought for and relied on. The legal landscape is shifting in real time, and for many trans folks, the anxiety isn't hypothetical — it's about real decisions with real consequences happening right now.

I want to be clear about where I stand: I believe trans and gender diverse identities are valid and deserving of respect, safety, and affirming care. For some people that includes social or medical transition, which can be a deeply life-affirming process. I am not a neutral party on this. I will advocate for you, write on your behalf when appropriate, and support your access to affirming care to the fullest extent possible in my role as your therapist.

Step 1: Free Consultation

Start by scheduling a free 15-minute video consultation. We’ll use this time to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and whether working together feels like a good fit.

Step 2: Getting to Know You

In our first few sessions, you’ll have space to share your story at your own pace. We can start wherever feels most important to you, and I’ll ask questions to help us understand your experiences, patterns, and goals.

We’ll pick regular times to meet for ongoing sessions. Therapy is a collaborative process—I’ll support you in exploring what’s coming up, offer practical tools, and help you make sense of patterns as they emerge. You’ll have a steady, affirming space to process, grow, and build new skills.
